Amusement Park and Zoo

The best place for active leisure with children is the "Tripsdrill Amusement Park". More than 100 original thematic attractions await you there that will surprise not only children but also their parents. Another plus is a visit to the zoo, where the animals are no longer locked in cages but can move freely around a fenced area of 47 hectares. Among the favourites of the public are the polar wolves, wild cats, lynxes, bears and foxes. The cost of an integrated ticket for 1 day for adults is €38 and €32 for children (children up to 4 yearsfree entrance).

The "Mineralfreibad" OpenAir Pools

The outdoor swimming complex "Mineralfreibad" in Besigheim lets fans enjoy relaxation in water. It includes the main swimming pool, a pool for beginners, children's pool, diving tower, playground, restaurant and much more. The complex is open to visitors from May to September. Admission fee for adults is €4.50 and for children, teenagers and students under 25 years €2.20.

Excursions for tourists all year round

Yearround guided tours are run in the city, in which everyone will find something to their liking. Their themes cover various aspects of the life of Besigheim, ranging from classic tours to historical sites through to interesting stories about the timbered buildings, painting and even the industrial foundation of the city.

The tour of the socalled "Trail of Sculptures" created in 2003 deserves special attention. The trail starts at the station on the river Enz, passes through the centre of the city and ends at the hydroelectric power station on the Neckar. It consists of more than 20 Art Nouveau sculptures created by artists of the region.
